Whenever the story of Chulbul Pandey comes on Bollywood. Every time an item song is definitely added to it. The journey from Munni Badnaam Hui reached Munna Badnaam in Dabangg 3. Singer Mamta Sharma has given voice to all these three songs.
Talking about Salman, Mamta said, "I am Salman Khan's fan since the time of Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, but never in my childhood did I know that I would get a chance to sing in his film once. In childhood, Salman used to buy posters by saving money from his pocket money."
When asked about the first memory of coming to Mumbai, I told that I have a special memory of coming to Mumbai, which I have not forgotten till date. That day I realized that it is very difficult to live in Mumbai, even when you do not know anyone. At that time, I was staying in a hostel, there was a rule in that hostel that the doors used to be closed at 10 o'clock. So once we returned from the show with great fun at around 12 pm but the gate did not open for us. We were told by the watchman, 'Behenji it will not open now, now it will open only in the morning'. After which we reached our friend's house with great difficulty and where nine people had to stay in one room. It was a very different experience for me.
When Mamta Sharma was asked that you have been given the status of item number queen, but how do you like songs in personal life, then her response was that in personal life, I am very different. I don't listen to the kind of songs I sing. I love Sad Songs. If someone would see my playlist of songs, I would call me a sad girl. Actually, I love Sad Song, Ghazal and Sufi songs. Speaking of dance numbers, I feel that she is in me from birth and this is the effect of Gwalior. Whenever it comes to singing such songs, I always think that I am performing in Gwalior.
