There have always been questions about the quality and purity of food available during the train journey. You get food on the train, but sometimes you get something that you're forced to question. One person gave a complaint of lizard-turned-Biryani in railway, which was also rocked on social media.
Following the complaint, the action was taken by the railway authorities which found that one such person was doing it deliberately and was also caught. His motive behind doing so is free food on the rails. The man has now been apprehended by the police, after which the whole thing has come to light.
In fact, according to one report, Basant Kumar Sharma, senior divisional commercial manager, Jabalpur, was suspected after a number of such complaints were received. An inquiry was conducted into the incident, which revealed that there was only one person who had complained about the lizard being found in the food several times. When the railway authorities caught the man, it was discovered that Surendra Pal, an elderly man over 70 years old, had been adopting these tricks for some time.
Surprisingly, he used to put lizards in his own food to eat for free. He has made such complaints several times in the past. This led to the suspicion of DCM Basant Kumar Sharma and alerted the Railway Division by sending a photo of the man.
