In a case that has recently surfaced, a unilaterally-loved young man along with his cousin has kidnapped and killed the girl's father. Yes, the man, who hails from Joharpurwa in Kanpur's Shivrajpur, had arranged his daughter's wedding elsewhere and that is why the young man got angry with him.

The body of the deceased was found in the bushes near Yamuna bridge in Bhognipur (Kanpur countryside) on Tuesday and the police have sent the two accused to jail after revealing the carnage on Wednesday.

Unveiling the case further, the police said, "With the help of Monu on the late evening of August 17, Ram Singh was called and abducted from the van near the village and forced to drink alcohol. After fainting, the duo beat up Ram Singh with sticks and dumped his body in the bushes near Yamuna Bridge. On Tuesday, the family identified the body as "the young man confessed to the whole incident" in the case.
