Aurangabad: A pet dog started barking at a man in Maharashtra's Aurangabad city. Angered by this, the man killed the dog by hitting a shovel and argued with the woman. On the complaint of the woman, the police registered a case against the culprits and started an investigation. The police officer gave this information on Wednesday.

According to the news received, the incident took place on Tuesday afternoon in Aurangabad city. Four persons, including two women and two men, had reached the woman's residence in the Narlibagh area here. It is said that during this, the woman's pet dog started barking at everyone. In this case, the complaint made to the police said that when the woman's pet dog started barking on seeing people, a person got angry.  

After this, the man got angry and picked up the shovel lying nearby and swiftly hit the dog on the head. The pet dog died on the spot. After this incident, the four people started arguing with the woman. The woman lodged a complaint with the police. The police have registered a case against the culprits under several sections.
