NEW DELHI:  Man stabs wife to death in front of minor daughter - In a horrific incident in Delhi, a man stabbed his wife to death in front of their nine-year-old daughter in Dwarka's Mohan Garden , a police official said on Saturday, October 1.

The official said that on Friday night, they received a call about a quarrel between a couple in which the wife had suffered major injuries.

After reaching the sporty, "Police found the wife in a pool of blood and the husband disappeared when they arrived at the scene in the Nawada Kakrola Housing Complex location.  

Their nine-year-old daughter confirmed that the two had a quarrel and that her father had attacked her mother with a knife in a fit of rage "police reported.

The deceased was identified as Arti, while her husband was identified as Sanjay, a school teacher.

A case of murder under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was registered in this respect at Mohan Garden Police Station.

The official said that a team has been formed to caught the accused.
