Dehradun: People are very scared after the Balasore train accident in Odisha. Meanwhile, a video is going viral on social media. In which it is being said that a gas cylinder filled under the train is being thrown, this video is being told from Haldwani in Nainital district. The Railway Police has appealed not to do this video.  

According to Railway Protection Force Kathgodam, the video is from July 5, 2022. A domestic gas cylinder collided with a train on the Lalkuan Haldwani railway track. It is being told in the video that a domestic gas cylinder was thrown on the track by a person. In this case, RPF personnel arrested Gangaram, a resident of Pilibhit, at Kathgodam RPF station. A case under Section 174/153 of the Railways Act was registered against him and he was sent to jail. Gangaram is out on bail after being in jail for 3 months.

Kathgodam RPF in-charge Chandrapal Singh Rana said that the video is from July 5, 2022. In the entire case, the Railways has taken action against Gangaram. In such a situation, this video should not be shared in social media as it is an old video. RPF has also appealed to people in its Twitter account not to share this video. Kathgodam railway station in-charge Chandrapal Singh Rana said that the information about the video being shared has been given to the GRP's SRP. Legal action can be taken against anyone who shares the video. In such a situation, people have been appealed not to share this video.
