The case pertains to Kharauli village in Sahatwar police station area of the district where on Friday late evening, the accused, who was drunk, arrived and attacked her with a knife. Then, suddenly, the blood-stained young woman ran away from him. After seeing the girl in this condition, the family was upset because they did not understand what had happened.
Then, when they realized that the girl's husband had carried out the incident, the family beat up the accused. The youth has now been handed over to the police and after the incident, the badly injured victim was shifted to the district hospital where he is undergoing treatment with the help of villagers and family members.
