Patna: Former Bihar JNU Students Union president and CPI leader Kanhaiya Kumar has been attacked once again. This time, slippers were thrown at Kanhaiya, who was giving a lecture against the CAA at Lakhisarai's Gandhi Maidan. However, the sandal collided with the stage and fell down. Meanwhile, some activists caught the accused young man and smacked him. After much effort, the police rescued the young man from the crowd and took him to custody.

Unhappy over throwing slippers towards Kanhaiya, his supporters and activists beat up the accused. The police present on the spot took the accused young man in custody and rescued the young man from the clutches of the mob. The accused man injured by beating people has been taken to Sadar Hospital for police treatment.
