Actors Shweta Tiwari and Manav Gohil are set to reunite on screen in the upcoming film "Main Hoon Aparajita," which will take place more than twenty years after they were last seen together in "Kasautii Zindagi Kaya."
The two were additionally spotted in the 2007 fantasy programme Naaginn. Shweta expressed her excitement about playing the role of Aparajita, describing her as a "happy-go-lucky woman who always knows her way to deal with tough situations in life."
“Every single person will be able to relate to my character and her struggle because the show and its story are so thought-provoking. I am eagerly anticipating this raw and powerful section." Shweta is thrilled to see Manav again after almost 20 years.
Added her: "We both began our careers on television when we were very young, as I can still clearly recall. We are currently reuniting for Main Hoon Aparajita after 15 years. He is a fantastic professional, and I know we will enjoy working together on set."
The show will follow the uplifting journey of Aparajita, a devoted mother of three who is preparing her children for the life's emotional roller coaster.
Manav will be portrayed by Akshay, a domineering man who demands everything in life. He comes from a wealthy family and runs a successful business. Despite having a limited vocabulary, he consistently exhibits strong emotions and communicates his ideas using exact, forceful language.
The best part, in fact, according to Manav, is that my character has a few nuances that will come to light as the show goes on. I feel that the intensity of this character requires me to portray a range of emotions, which has been both interesting and challenging for me. It is quite different from any character I have played up until this point. Shweta Tiwari's reunion excite me just as much.
