NEW DELHI: On Friday night in Mangolpuri, a group of miscreants stabbed three brothers, leaving one dead. The same group also attacked two other people that day who were allegedly linked to a rival of theirs. Three people have been detained and two separate cases have been filed.
In the first incident, they killed a man after his bike touched them, whereas in the second, they sought out and attacked two people they believed to be connected to their adversary after failing to locate him.
A senior police official said, they received a call at around 4:36 p.m. reporting that three people had been stabbed in Mangolpuri's K Block.
At Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Armaan, Monty (also known as Moin Khan), and Fardeen who had been hurt were taken, and there Armaan was pronounced dead. Fardeen was admitted to the hospital's intensive care unit.
According to Fardeen's statement to the police, Shahrukh's motorcycle was struck by his motorcycle at about 2:15 p.m. He then got into a fight with Shahrukh's assistant Shahbir, and Fardeen eventually departed the area.
"Monty, Fardeen's brother, made the choice to work out a peaceful solution with Sharukh. When Monty and his cousin Arman met Shahrukh, they got into a fierce quarrel. To kill the three brothers, Sharukh and Shahbir requested their allies to bring knives." The group then proceeded to knife the victims before fleeing the scene.
Later, the group moved to O Block Mangolpuri to exact revenge on one Matthi for beating up one of the group members' brothers a few days earlier. They asked two lads they found there named Anurag and Ravi about Matthi. The accused later stabbed both boys.
Ravi was released from the hospital while Anurag suffered serious injuries. The miscreants are facing charges of murder and attempted murder. Police said, "efforts are being made to arrest more suspected persons while Shahrukh and two other suspects (Saif and Vineet) have been apprehended."
