Lucknow: A 4-year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped and brutally murdered in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow. After committing the murder, the accused dumped the child's body in the Ganga river. It is alleged that this kidnapping was done by none other than the uncle's son. The accused had taken his cousin to Kanpur and it was there that he committed the incident. In this case, the police have arrested the killer.
DCP East Prachi Singh has informed that on September 5, Ravi Pandey had given a complaint in police station Chinhat. The complainant said that Amit Pandey, son of uncle Virendra Pandey, has gone somewhere with his 4-year-old son Ram Pandey. On this complaint, a case was registered under Section 363 of the IPC in the police station. According to the police, on the basis of the complaint, when the investigation was done and CCTV footage was scanned, it was found that Amit Pandey took the 4-year-old child to Kanpur, where he strangled the child to death and dumped the body in the River Ganga.
The DCP has said that the killer is being arrested and sent to jail. The reason behind committing the crime is said to be family malice and money. The murdered cousin was short of money, while the boy's father Ravi Pandey was rich. Due to this, he killed the innocent. The police officer further said that the body is being searched in the Ganga river with the help of the SDRF team. The child's body has not been recovered yet. As of now, the police are taking further legal action in the case.
