Born in Delhi on August 26, 1956, Maneka Gandhi is a part of the Gandhi-Nehru family, the country's oldest political family. She married Sanjay Gandhi, the younger son of the then PM Indira Gandhi, after which she became the daughter-in-law of the Gandhi family. 1- Maneka Gandhi did not want to enter politics, but circumstances forced her to become a part of politics.
