New Delhi: After “neech aadmi" remark against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2017, Congress leader Mani Shakar Aiyar has justified it by saying that he was prophetic in his remark.
In his article published in The Print, Mani Shakar justified his remarks by citing PM Modi's recent comments in the election rallies in interviews regarding former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi and Balakot air strikes.
Aiyar accused PM Modi of lying about his educational background - which he suggests led the PM into making "illiterate claims" about the plastic surgery of Lord Ganesha and terming "udan khatolas” of mythology to be earliest F-16s invented by Hindus.
Earlier, Aiyar had said, ‘Mujhko lagta hai ki ye aadmi bahut neech kisam ka aadmi hai, isme koi sabhyata nahi hai, or aise mauke par is kisam ki gandi rajniti karne ki kya avashyakta hai?’ which translates to: "I feel that this man (PM Modi) is a very lowly and degenerate person. On an occasion like this, what is the need for this dirty politics?"

Then Aiyar also aimed PM for his recent remarks during an interview that cloudy cover helped the Indian Air Force to escape radars during the air strikes on February 26. Aiyar said, "He (Modi) thumped his 56-inch chest and saw that heavy cloud cover was actually good for the Indian Air Force because Pakistani radar would not be able to penetrate thick black clouds.”
