New Delhi: While rejecting the bail plea of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, the Delhi court has made a very important comment. Actually, the court has said in its decision that Sisodia is the mastermind of the Delhi liquor scam. He was supposed to get Rs 90 to 100 crore as a bribe. In his 34-page judgement, Special Judge MK Nagpal said that Sisodia had played an active role in the criminal conspiracy. The special court even said that all the evidence was against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sisodia. Justice is clearly indicating that Sisodia was totally involved in corruption.

The CBI did not commit any crime by arresting Sisodia:-

Special Judge MK Nagpal said that the CBI has not committed any offense by arresting Sisodia. Neither the CBI has disobeyed any order of the Supreme Court nor of the High Court. The CBI arrested Sisodia only when the agency felt it was absolutely necessary. In its 34-page judgement, the special court said that it was not going to spare Sisodia. The court feels that if Sisodia is granted bail, he can go out and play. They can completely influence the vital links related to the case, along with tampering with the evidence. The court said that he was arrested on February 26. Up until now, CBI has not completed the investigation of the case. That's why Sisodia cannot be left out.

Manish Sisodia broke the rules in the liquor scam:-

Justice M.K. Nagpal said in his judgement that the liquor scam in Delhi affects the general public at large. While making the liquor policy, Manish Sisodia did not keep in mind that it is related to many people. The court said that this scam comes under the category of economic offence. The court said that this whole game was created keeping in mind the lobby of the South. Rules were bent to benefit them. Out of the bribe amount, Rs 20–30 crore was moving here and there through Vijay Nair, Abhishek Boilpally, and Abhishek Arora.

Kejriwal was calling Sisodia staunchly honest:-

The court clearly stated that Manish Sisodia, former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, played sports to promote certain brands. They wanted to benefit some special liquor traders. For this, he broke many rules and twisted. His connivance with the lobby of the South is the most important aspect of this case. Let us tell you that this comment from the court is no less than a setback for Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Because, ever since the action against Sisodia started, Kejriwal has been calling him staunchly honest, Bhagat Singh, a descendant of Maharana Pratap, etc. In fact, on the arrest of Sisodia, Kejriwal had even said that the central government had implicated Manish Sisodia in a false case by misusing the agencies. Now, after seeing all the evidence, the court has declared Sisodia the mastermind of the liquor scam, so what Kejriwal says on this matter will be worth watching.
