South superstar ‘King’ AKA Akkineni Nagarjuna and team wrapped up ‘Manmadhudu 2’Portugal schedule. The actor had begun shooting for the romantic drama in the city a month ago. In this schedule, important scenes on Nagarjuna and Rakul were shot. Also Vennela Kishore , Rao Ramesh and entire cast took part in the shooting. The team will take a short break before resuming the next schedule in Hyderabad.

The makers of the film are yet to officially announce the release date but taking into the consideration that the film’s shoot will be wrapped up two weeks in advance is an indication that the release could happen earlier than expected. Nagarjuna and P. Kiran are jointly producing the movie under Manam Enterprises and Anandi Art Creations banners in association with Viacome18 Motion Pictures.

Kannada beauty Akshara Gowda has been roped in for a cameo role and the makers are in talks with Keerthi Suresh for an important character in the film. Annapurna Studios is bankrolling the film.  ‘Manmadhudu 2’, which marks Rahul Ravindran’s first-time collaboration with Nagarjuna also features Rakul Preet Singh, Rao Ramesh, Nasser, Jhansi, Vennla Kishore and Devadarshini. The movie is a sequel to the 2002 blockbuster, ‘Manmadhudu’ directed by K Vijay Bhaskar.
