New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is addressing the people of the country today in the 91st episode of his radio program Mann Ki Baat. Let us tell you that Prime Minister Modi had earlier invited citizens to listen to Mann Ki Baat on July 31 at 11 am. Now today PM Modi said 'A few days ago the results of 10th and 12th have been declared across the country. I congratulate all the students who have achieved success with their hard work and dedication.' With this, PM Modi said that it is also a matter of great honour for India to host the 44th Chess Olympiad in Chennai. This tournament started only on 28th July and I got the privilege of attending its Opening Ceremony.

Apart from this, PM Modi said 'When it comes to sports, the month of July has been full of action. Indian players have performed exceptionally well on the world stage. Today our youth, in every field, are making the country proud. This month, PV Sindhu won his maiden title at the Singapore Open. Neeraj Chopra has also won a silver medal for the country in the World Athletics Championship, continuing his excellent performance.' Apart from this, PM Modi said, 'No one could have imagined the success that our toy industry has done because of our Youngsters, Start-ups and Entrepreneurs. Today, when it comes to Indian toys, Vocal for Local is being echoed everywhere.' PM Modi said that because of our Youngsters, Start-ups and Entrepreneurs, what our toy industry has done, and the successes we have achieved, no one could have imagined.

Apart from this, PM Modi said 'Today, when it comes to Indian toys, the echo of Vocal for Local is being heard everywhere.' With this, PM Modi said, 'You will also like to know that now the number of toys coming from abroad in India is continuously decreasing.' Earlier, where toys worth more than Rs 3 thousand crores used to come from outside, now their import has come down by 70 per cent. It is a matter of happiness that during this period India has exported toys worth more than two thousand six hundred crore rupees to foreign countries. Whereas earlier only toys worth Rs 300-400 crore used to go out of India.

Referring to the various fairs being organized across the country, PM Narendra Modi said that fairs have a huge cultural significance in our country. These fairs reinforce the spirit of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'. Fairs connect both the people and the mind. With this, PM Modi said that initiatives like National Beekeeping and Honey Mission are changing the lives of our farmers by helping them to increase their income. The sweetness of honey is also changing the lives of our farmers, increasing their income. Honey, not only gives us a taste but also gives us health. There is so much potential in honey production today that even the youth pursuing professional studies are making it their self-employment. With this, PM Modi further said that AYUSH has played an important role against Corona at the global level. There is an increasing attraction toward Ayurveda and Indian medicines in the world. Recently there was a Global Ayush Investment and Innovation Summit. In this, investment proposals of about 10 thousand crore rupees have been received. Indian Virtual Herbarium was launched in the month of July. It is also an example of how we can use the digital world to connect with our roots.
