Manoj Tiwari slams Mamata Banerjee says, she disgraced democracy

Singer-turned-politician Manoj Tiwari on Thursday attacked West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and said she has "disgraced" the democracy. "It is good that she decided not to attend PM Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony. After killing 54 BJP workers with which face she will attend the celebration. She has disgraced the democracy," he said.

Narendra Modi will be sworn in at 7 PM at the Rashtrapati Bhavan for a second consecutive term as Prime Minister of India. Ahead of oath taking ceremony, Modi paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi and Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Rajghat and Atal Samadhi Sthal respectively.  All the BJP leaders also went there to pay homage. During this, Manoj Tiwari attacked on West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee after refusing the invitation of oath ceremony.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday announced that she will not attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi's swearing-in on Thursday, alleging the BJP was using the ceremony "to score political points".
