Google has made several changes to Google meet for the education sector users. The new features have a number of options such as student presence, question-answer and poll. The consumer will start getting the facilities of this new feature at the end of October 2020. Now, google meet is also getting a feature of noise cancellation. This feature is connected only last week. This will reduce non-essential voices.

The use of a poll in the same Google meet will help the teacher to check the student. This will reveal that students are not lagging behind in any classwork. The student will also get the voting option on Google meet on the topic of his choice in the online class. This will also enable voting on priority topics. Samir Pradhan, group product manager of Google meets, said the poll can be a great atmosphere in classes. There can also be fun with the help of discussion and debate. In addition, students will be able to ask questions during class without breaking the flow of the session.

While asking questions, the teacher will have the option to conceal, disable or enable it. Google has said that the question-answer feature is coming soon, but no day has been mentioned. The Google meet will also see the facility of white board and Jambod by the end of this year. This will empower the approval to be a present. Through the breakout room, teachers can now divide the student into small groups. Control over Google meet will be added in the next few months. It will have the option to ask the participants for help to get the teacher's attention.
