Fierce fire breaks out in Shimla, 5 families left shelterless

Shimla: There have been reports of terrible fire from Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. On Thursday, many villagers in Kullu and Shimla districts became shelterless due to this fire. A fierce fire broke out in Addu Panchayat of Nankhadi development block of Shimla district on Thursday evening and 5 houses were burnt to ashes. After the fire, there was chaos.

Fire has caused loss of crores of rupees. 5 families have become shelterless. After hard work, the administration, police, villagers and home guards have put the fire under control. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. According to the information, relief amount of Rs 48000 has been given to the affected families.

According to the information, a fire broke out in a house in Addu village on Thursday evening. As soon as there were wooden houses nearby, the fire spread to other houses as well and there was an atmosphere of chaos in the village. The villagers tried to extinguish the fire at their level and reported the case to the police, administration and fire ministry. Members of the affected families barely drove the cattle out and took them to a safe place. Till late night, the administration teams have been engaged in relief and rescue operations in the village.
