Deoghar: Today is the third day of the Trikuta Mountain Ropeway accident in Deoghar, Jharkhand. It is being said that, at an altitude of 2500 feet, there are still 3 trolleys stuck. Army troops have reached these trolleys and evacuation of people is in progress. As per the news received, 6 more persons have been evacuated so far today. However, 8 people are still trapped above.  

Ashwini Nair, in charge of the rescue operation in the same Deoghar ropeway accident, said, "We are carrying out continuous rescue operations. Now only a few people are up. He said it is expected that by noon all the persons will be evacuated safely. About 33 persons could be rescued on Monday in a joint operation by the Army, Air Force, ITBP, and NDRF. Two army helicopters have been deployed in the rescue operation. However, the campaign was halted due to darkness late on Monday night. Due to this, it was also difficult to reach the food and water things to the people, due to which the people trapped above remained hungry and thirsty all night long. Among those stranded on the hill are women and young children.  

So far, 3 persons have lost their lives in the same rescue operation. On Monday, the Deoghar administration confirmed the death of one woman. At the same time, due to slipping from the helicopter in the evening, one person fell into the ditch 1,500 feet below. In addition, there is also one death. However, this has not been confirmed by the administration. Twelve people were injured in the accident.
