More than 50 percent of officers and employees found positive in Supreme Court

New Delhi: The outbreak of the second wave of coronavirus in the country is constantly increasing. A variety of restrictions have been imposed in many states, including the night curfew. At the same time, now corona has knocked in the top court. Many staff officers are troubled by the symptoms of the corona. While this virus has been confirmed in many people. Explain that a total of more than 3400 employees work in the apex court. More than 50 percent of the top court employees have been infected with the coronavirus.

In view of the increasing threat of corona, now all the judges of the top court will hear from their residence through video conferencing. The entire Supreme Court premises, including all courtrooms, are being sanitized. So today all benches will sit one hour behind schedule. The secretary-general of the apex court has said that they are collecting the data of those who are corona positive. Tracing of people who came in contact with them is being done. The work of sanitizing the court premises is in progress. The details will be released by 12 o'clock. 

Earlier, due to the corona crisis in Delhi, the Delhi High Court had issued orders to stop the physical hearing in all the district courts of the capital. After the new order, the hearing in the Delhi High Court and all the district courts of Delhi till April 23 will now be in virtual mode only.
