Patna: Some trains running on this route have been cancelled due to taking a mega block between Samastipur-Muktapur station to connect the track to the new bridge over Burhi Gandak river in Samastipur railway division, while some trains have been diverted. Virendra Kumar, CPRO, East Central Railway, said that the work of cut-and-connection on bridge number 01 between Samastipur and Muktapur will be carried out from 09.45 am to 14.45 pm on May 14 and May 17. Due to this, the operation of trains originating from Samastipur-Darbhanga railway section has been temporarily changed.

Train no. 13043 Howrah-Raxaul Express, which will start from Howrah on May 13, will run via Samastipur-Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi.
Train no. 17005 Hyderabad-Raxaul Express, which will start from Hyderabad on May 12, will run via Samastipur-Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi.
Train no. 12408 Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Express scheduled to start from Amritsar on May 13, 2022 will run via Samastipur-Barauni-Khagaria.
Trains to be partially terminated:-
Train no. 14674 Amritsar-Jaynagar Express, which will start from Amritsar on May 12, will have a partial end at Samastipur.
Train no. 13226 Danapur-Jaynagar Express, which will start from Danapur on May 14, will have a partial end at Samastipur.
Train no. 05514 Jayanagar-Samastipur Special, which will start from Jayanagar on May 14, will have partial completion at Muktapur.
Train no. 05512 Sonpur-Samastipur Special, which was scheduled to start from Sonepur on May, will have partial completion at Muzaffarpur.
Train no. 05590 Darbhanga-Samastipur Special, which will start from Darbhanga on May 14, will have partial completion at Muktapur.

Train number 05593 Samastipur-Jaynagar Special, which will start from Samastipur on May 14, will have a partial start from Muktapur.
Trains to be rescheduled:-
Train number 15553 Bhagalpur-Jaynagar Express, which was scheduled to start from Bhagalpur on May 14, will be delayed by 120 minutes from Bhagalpur.
Train number 05275 Saharsa-Samastipur Special, which was scheduled to start from Saharsa on May 14, will be delayed by 60 minutes from Saharsa.
Controlled trains:-
Train no. 12523 New Jalpaiguri-New Delhi Express, which will start from New Jalpaiguri on May 14, will be operated between Rusera Ghat and Samastipur for 30 minutes.
Changes in train operations due to traffic block on May 17:-
The 05589 Samastipur-Darbhanga MEMU special train originating from Samastipur will remain cancelled on May 17.
