The much-awaited trailer of the legendary Malayalam actor Priyadarshan's ambitious periodic drama 'Merkar: Arabikadalinte Singham' was released at 6 pm on Friday. With this, the trailer promises that this never-before-seen scene is exceptional Malayalam cinema. The 2.23-minute-long trailer introduces all the major characters in the film and they all look stunning. However, Mohanlal Kunjali Marakar IV, Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani look stunning in Priyadarshan shoes and attract attention in their respective roles.

The trailer was released in five languages by six superstars - Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, Surya, Yash, Chiranjeevi and Ramcharan. The film, directed by Priyadarshan, is produced in Kerala during the 16th-century era and is played by Mohanlal the legendary sailor Kunjali Markar Is based on IV. Pranav is playing the younger version of Mohanlal in the film. Pranav is paired with Kalyani Priyadarshan. The epic period drama is produced in a budget of Rs 100 crores and includes a cast of actors like Keerthy Suresh, Manju Warrier, Arjun Sarja, Nedumudi Venu, Masoom, Suhasini and Mukesh.

Apart from this, many foreign actors are also acting in the film. At the same time, Antony Perumbavoor is controlling the project under the banner of Ashirvad Cinema. With this, Karakar can be a screen hit in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada simultaneously. A Hindi version is also expected. While being an ambitious project by Priyadarshan, the film is expected to have grandeur that Mollywood has never seen before. Along with this, the film is releasing on 26 March in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages.
