Releasing on 26 March, the makers of Marakkar - Arabikadalinte Singham 'have unveiled the much-awaited character poster of Pranab Mohanlal. Along with this, Pranav is seen raging in the character posters, which have already gone viral on social media. Allegedly, Pranav is playing the younger version of Mohanlal in the film. According to the poster, Pranav will be seen performing some spectacular stunts and a song sequence. Pranav is paired opposite Kalyani Priyadarshan in the flick.

Along with this, the film directed by Priyadarshan is set in Kerala during the 16th century era and is based on the great sailor Kunjali Marakarkar IV, played by Mohanlal. At the same time, the epic period drama is produced in a budget of 100 crores and will include a cast of actors like Keerthy Suresh, Manju Warrier, Arjun Sarja, Nedumudi Venu, Masoom, Suhasini and Mukesh. Many foreign actors are also asked to act in the film.

Antony Perumbavoor is controlling the project under the banner of Ashirvad Cinema. Hit Marakar will be a screen hit in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada simultaneously. A Hindi version is also expected along with it. Being Priyadarshan's ambitious project, the film is expected to have grandeur that Mollywood has never seen before. Along with this, Pranav has released his hero from 'Hero' start up. The actor is currently working with Vineet Srinivasan for the upcoming film Hridayam.
