The United State said, “it views India as a vital partner in the region, adding that the relationship between the two countries is of "incredible significance" to the world, days ahead of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Washington.”

Mark Toner,the State Department Deputy Spokesman said, "We're very much looking forward to Prime Minister Modi s visit. The US-Indian relationship is of incredible significance, not only to the region but to the world,".

As per the Toner said, "The breadth of the US-Indian relationship is wide. It addresses security. Its got a strong economic component. We're looking to build closer relationships across the board with India, because we see it as a vital partner in the region,"

Modi is scheduled to reach in Washington on June 6 on a three day visit.

The Prime Minister is planned to assemble US President Barack Obama at the White House on June 7 and speak to a joint meeting of the US Congress on June 8.

He said,"We have a broad bilateral and multilateral relationship with India and look forward to engaging on all those issues,".
