Veteran boxer MC Mary Kom has easily won his match here on Thursday, helping Punjab Pathers beat the Bombay Bullets 5-2 to register their second consecutive win in the Big Bout boxing league. Mary Kom defeated Rio Olympic-2016 bronze medalist Ingrid Lorena 5–0.

Manoj Kumar's defeat in the men's 69kg weight category by Mumbai's Naveen Bora had shocked Punjab, but Mary Kom brought him back. Earlier, Punjab Panthers' Abdul Malik Khalakov and PL Prasad gave their team a good start.

Youth Olympic champion Abdul Malik defeated Asian Games silver medalist Kavinder Bisht in the men's 57 kg category. PL Prasad lost in the first match against Odisha Warriors, but on Thursday he made a comeback by defeating Anant Chopade. On Wednesday, Gujarat Giants defeated Odisha Warriors 5-2.

Sarita Devi, Mohammad Hussamuddin, Amit Panghal, Rajesh Narwal and Ashish Kumar won their respective matches for Gujarat. For Odisha, Jekhangir Rakhmanov and Naman Tanwar have managed to win the match.
