Now let's talk about Mahatma Gandhi's assassination in the Birla House on the evening of 30 January 1948. During that time, Nathuram Godse shot and killed Mahatma Gandhi.

It is said that Nathuram Godse touched Gandhiji's feet before killing him. By the time Gandhiji was assassinated, he was 78 years old. It is said that Nathuram Godse did not agree with Gandhiji's idea of partition of India. Gandhiji's values are also remembered every year on 30 January and all pay tribute to him in his memory.
