Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest car manufacturer, is offering many good offers and discounts to its customers these days. A senior company official said that the sales of various models on which cash discounts and extended warranties are offered, have increased by 18-20 per cent in the previous month compared to July and August.
It is worth noting that according to sources, the company has tried to revive the market but we cannot have such offers all the time. Therefore they are not sustainable. The company hopes that the month of October will be better in terms of sales. Srivastava said that the first week of October should be talked about, which during the Navratri period, bookings and sales were better than the previous year. Sales of diesel models and eight cars with BS6 engines have been better and growing. Apart from this, the recently launched car S-Preso has more than 10,000 bookings.
It is the intention of the company that the impact of their decision will be seen, for the rest of the models, the decision to stop BS4 production will be taken keeping in view the level of inventory. However, it is too early to tell now that the auto sector is out of slack and it will take at least two months to say it clearly. But we have to see if there is any ups and downs without this promotion. I think it will be clear within the next few months whether the situation in the auto sector has changed.
