Maruti Suzuki vehicles have always been in demand in the Indian market. Now, the company is also moving towards electric vehicles with its new step. In this episode, Maruti is preparing to launch its first electric SUV, eVX. Recently, some special things have been seen in Maruti eVX, which was spotted during testing.

The front fascia of the eVX features a sporty X-shaped design, which makes it quite attractive. It has double LED DRLs (Day Time Running Lights), which give the car a stunning look both at night and during the day. The projector headlamps have been designed on the sides and the lighting elements have been given a similar design at the rear as well. The entire body of this car has stylish paneling, which makes it even more attractive.

eVX interiors and features

Maruti eVX is expected to have luxurious interiors and great features. This first electric SUV will get a large cabin with freed-up storage space. It will have a floating center console, a rotary knob for the drive selector, a center armrest, and a free-standing infotainment screen. Apart from this, a digital instrument panel, a new D-cut steering wheel with media control, and black and brown seat upholstery will also be seen.

The Maruti eVX is also likely to get features like dual-zone climate control, wireless charger, auto-dimming IRVM, ventilated and powered front seats, premium sound system, wireless smartphone connectivity, 360-degree surround camera, head-up display and ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems).

Range and competition

Maruti eVX is expected to give a driving range of more than 500 km on a single charge. It is likely to get a 60kWh battery pack. The company is planning to launch this electric SUV in 2025. This electric SUV will compete with the Tata Curve EV and Hyundai Creta EV. Tata Motors is preparing to launch its Curve EV in the next few months, which is expected to get a range of about 500 km per charge. At the same time, the Hyundai Creta EV is expected to be launched in the market at the same time as the launch of the Maruti eVX next year.
