One of India's highest civilian awards, the Padma Awards, has been announced on Saturday. This time a total of eight players are going to get this honor, among the winners released by the central government. Some players have received Padma Vibhushan and some Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri is to be awarded.

1. World champion and Olympic silver medalist PV Sindhu is going to be awarded the Padma Bhushan.

2. Six-time world champion MC Mary Kom will be awarded the Padma Vibhushan award, as well as a Rajya Sabha MP. Mary Kom, 36, from Manipur won the bronze medal at the London Olympics.

3.Bambam Devi, former captain of Indian women's football team, will be awarded the Padma Shri. Bombam Devi, who lives in Manipur, has also received the Arjuna Award.

4. Former Team India fast bowler Zaheer Khan has been selected for the Padma Shri award. Zaheer was a member of the 2011 World Cup winning Team India.

5. Indian archer Tarundeep Rai comes from Gorkha community. He has also been awarded the Arjuna Award. Tarundeep has also been selected to honor Padma Shri.

6.73-year-old former hockey player MP Ganesh has been the captain of the Indian team. He was also the coach of the Indian hockey team. He was awarded the Arjuna Award in 1973. MP Ganesh will also be awarded the Padma Shri.

7. Rani Rampal, captain of the Indian women's hockey team, has also been honored for Padma Shri. Rani, who started her international field hockey career at the age of 15, was named India's youngest player to participate in the 2010 World Cup. .

8. Indian shooter Jitu Rai will be awarded the Padma Shri award. Jitu won the gold medal in the 10-meter air pistol event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
