Residents living near the power company in Raipur were evacuated as the fire threatened to spread to surrounding areas due to chemical hazards. Authorities urged nearby residents to leave the vicinity to ensure their safety.
Footage shared seen captured the extensive blaze and dense black smoke visible from afar. Firefighters swiftly arrived to combat the inferno following reports from locals who alerted the fire brigade and police.

"Three fire tenders were dispatched to the site. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries. The cause of the fire remains unknown," stated Additional Superintendent of Police (Urban) Abhishek Jha. Meanwhile, containers holding flammable materials were safely removed from the premises.
