Suzuki has launched the BS6 variant of its Maxi scooter Burgman Street in India. However, no other changes have been made to this scooter other than the BS6 update.

The scooter has a BS6 engine with which fuel injection technology has also been added. The engine kill switch has also been installed in the scooter. The new Burgman Street has been launched at a price of Rs 77,900 (ex-showroom). Despite a slight change in the scooter, the price has been increased by Rs 7,000.

This scooter has many similar features which make it very special for the Indian market, Suzuki Burgman Street is designed on the lines of a European scooter. It looks more premium than common scooters. The front and rear of the scooter have chrome finishing. There has also been a slight drop in the torque output of the scooter after the upgrade to the BS6. The new Burgman Street has a 125 cc BS6 engine that produces 8.7 bhp of power and 10 Nm of torque. The Burgman Street BS6 gets new LED headlight, tail lamps and LED daytime running lights. Talking about safety features, this scooter is equipped with CBS braking technology.
