Regarding this matter, BSP supremo Mayawati tweeted that 'It would be better if the government came forward to properly investigate the people killed in the most anti-CAA / NRC violence in UP and help those who are innocent in them.' Earlier, Mayawati tweeted and demanded that the Central Government remove the deepest fears about CAA and NCR. She has written that ''B.S.P. demanded that the Central Government should remove all the apprehensions of CAA / NRC, especially the Muslims, and if they should be fully satisfied, then it will be better.' She further tweeted, 'But at the same time people of Muslim society should also be careful. Somewhere in the guise of this issue, they are not being exploited politically and they have started getting into it.'

Earthquake tremors felt in Uttarakhand

There has been a dispute over the Citizenship Amendment Act in many places in UP. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's meeting with the victims of violence has increased the restlessness in the BSP. To maintain a hold among the Muslim voters, BSP chief Mayawati assigned the responsibility of the party's state president Munkad Ali to meet and comfort the victims. She said that Munkad Ali will meet the victims along with local leaders and will also assure the BSP to be with them in this hour of grief. BSP is fearing the Muslim votes to slip due to open support in support of the victims.
