Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and former UP CM Mayawati has given a clear message to the entire world about the widespread movement in the US after the death of a black man at the hands of the police. Mayawati tweeted on Tuesday that after the death of George Floyd, "There is a price for the life of blacks everywhere in America and even in big cities of the world, there is a movement in support of this. There is a clear message to the whole world that man's life has value and should not be mistaken for considering it cheap."

Mayawati further said that "Especially the unique constitution of our India, it gives tremendous human guarantee for every person to live with freedom, security and self-respect, which governments should pay maximum attention to. Cores of migrant workers would not have seen such bad days today. She said that 'In the wake of increasing patients and deaths of Corona, there is increasing accusation between the Center and various states of the country rather than harmony and goodwill between them and sealing the boundaries of the states unfair. The effective intervention of the centre is necessary.

Minneapolis police officer has been charged with third-degree murder in the case of Floyd's death and three other officers were dismissed along with him. Video made by a person passing by during the incident police officer, Derek Chawyn, appears to be applying pressure on Floyd's throat with his knee.
