Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and former Uttar Pradesh CM Mayawati has a birthday tomorrow. Every year, on the occasion of her birthday, BSP supporters celebrate in various districts of UP and Mayawati also addresses the rally. But this time, due to corona crisis, Mayawati has made a special appeal to her supporters and asked for a simple birthday celebration.

In a tweet on Thursday, BSP supremo Mayawati said, "It is known that tomorrow is my 65th birthday on January 15, 2021. It is better to celebrate the 'Welfare Day' by helping the party people to live in the wake of the Corona epidemic and by following its rules, with simplicity and the power of the poor and helpless, etc., to the poor."

In another tweet, Mayawati wrote, "Tomorrow on my birthday my self-written book and its English version, A Travelogue of My Struggle Ridden Life and BSP Movement, Vol.16, will going to be released which will help in advancing self-esteem and self-respecting movement". Mayawati has been involved in very few public events throughout the lockdown. However, she has been constantly raising many issues through social media.
