Tokyo: The exclusive MX-5 Kizuna model from the Japanese automaker Mazda, with a starting price of £30,265 (roughly Rs. 31.1 lakh), has been unveiled.
Just 250 units will be produced in total for the roadster. Two colour options—Machine Grey and Deep Crystal Blue—will be available for the limited-edition sports car.
The MX-5, widely regarded as the best-selling two-seat convertible sports car in the world, has played a critical role in boosting Mazda's recognition in the Asian, European, and US markets.

The roadster model, commonly referred to as the "Miata," first appeared in 1989 to challenge the Alfa Romeo Spider, the market leader at the time. To broaden the company's appeal, a limited-edition Kizuna model has recently been released.
The Mazda MX-5 Kizuna from 2023 looks largely the same as the regular model. It has a neatly-folding fabric roof in Premium Blue, projector LED headlights in the shape of eyes, a long, sculpted bonnet, ORVMs mounted on the doors, two frameless doors, a raked windscreen, flared wheel arches, wrap-around LED taillights, and an antenna mounted on the rear fender. The vehicle has 16-inch alloy wheels with eight spokes.
The limited-edition Mazda MX-5 Kizuna's interior features a sporty two-seater cabin with special Light Stone Nappa leather upholstery on the racing-style bucket seats, minimal dashboard, and door panels.
It has ventilated seats, automatic climate control, keyless entry, an engine start/stop button, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a handbrake lever.
It features a free-standing touchscreen infotainment panel and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
The unique Mazda MX-5 Kizuna is outfitted with Mazda's 'i-ACTIVSENSE' ADAS suite to protect the passengers.
The list includes Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC), Smart City Brake Support (SCBS), Mazda Blind Spot Monitoring System (BMS), Adaptive Front-Lighting System (AFS), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), Forward Obstruction Warning (FOW), Driver Attention Alert, and Traffic Sign Recognition.
