The AAP has made serious allegations against the BJP over the issue of non-payment of staff to the hospital. AAP spokesperson and MLA Raghav Chadha has alleged that the Delhi government released funds to the MCD long time in view of the current crisis. Despite this, the MCD has not yet given salary to the hospital staff. Raghav Chadha alleges that all the medical staff including doctors and nurses working in the hospital of MCD have not been given salary for the last 4 months.
AAP spokesperson Raghav Chadha believes that India is fighting the Coronavirus. In this time of crisis, people associated with doctors, nurses and health services have been directly combating the epidemic. He has alleged that Hindu Hospital and Kasturba Gandhi Hospital are counted in major hospitals of Delhi. Both these big hospitals are being operated by the BJP-ruled Delhi Municipal Corporation. Despite the release of funds by Kejriwal Government of Delhi, the MCD has not yet paid salaries to doctors, nurses and other medical staff working in these hospitals for the past 4 months.
In his statement, Raghav Chadha said that there are three types of hospitals in the capital. A hospital which is under the central government. The second hospital works under the Delhi government, and the third hospital is under MCD. He made serious allegations that the Municipal Corporation is considered a paradise for the corrupt. The BJP has been in the MCD for decades. He said don't bother the real warrior. If you cannot respect health workers, then only give them the necessary items. He said that the employees of Hindu Rao Hospital, Kasturba Gandhi Hospital have not been getting salary for four months. BJP-ruled MCD should provide salary to them.
