There is so much secrecy in North Korea about this issue that even the people living there are not aware of the truth about it. A British newspaper quoted a close aide of former South Korean President Kim De Jung as saying that Kim Jong is still alive, but in a coma. Chang Song Min has told the South Korean media that a final decision on succession has not yet been taken and that Kim Sung Yeo Jong has been given some rights at the moment in Kim's absence.
