Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao said on Tuesday that medical services in Telangana will be more accessible to the underprivileged.
KCR laid the foundation stone for three Telangana Institutes of Medical Sciences (TIMS) Super-specialty Hospitals in Hyderabad. The State Government has begun work on these three hospitals at L.B. Nagar, Sanath Nagar, and Alwal for a total expenditure of Rs. 2,678 crore. These facilities are modelled after the AIMS hospital in Delhi, which provides free super speciality medical care to the needy. In addition to nursing and paramedical courses, these facilities are expected to offer specialist medical education.
He stated, "We will further develop the state's medical system and deliver medical services to Hyderabad from all angles." In remote hospitals, he noted, the number of beds and infrastructure has increased. He stated that the number of beds in Hyderabad hospitals will be enhanced by 6,000. Furthermore, KCR stated that special ambulances would be established.
It's worth noting that at the TRS formation day today (27 April), Telangana Chief Minister KCR will declare his vision and introduce 11 resolutions.

Nagar, Sanath Nagar, and Alwal at a cost of two thousand 678 crore rupees. These hospitals have been proposed in line with the AIMS hospital in Delhi with free super specialty medical services to the poor. These hospitals are also proposed to offer specialized Medical Education besides courses in Nursing and Para-Medical sectors.
