Tokyo: Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu has secured a silver medal in India's bag at the Tokyo Olympics. Chanu managed to lift 110 kg in his first attempt at Clean and Jerk and is currently second. India started with a defeat in badminton. B Sai Praneeth suffered a 21-17, 21-15 defeat at the hands of Israel's Misha Zilberman in his first match.
