Meerut: The news of a big incident has come to light in Meerut on Saturday-Sunday at midnight. A minibus going from Delhi to Haridwar overturned in the Ganga Canal. Half a dozen people on the minibus have been injured. However, no passenger was killed in this incident and all are safe. The police has taken the victims out of the bus by conducting a rescue operation, where it is known that a second bus was called for all passengers. After which all the people were sent to Haridwar. Before this, dozens of accidents have occurred in this Ganga Canal, in which many people have lost their lives too.
According to the information received, Chaudhary Charan Singh of Police Station Sardhana area of Meerut had gone towards Kawand Marg. About one and a half dozen people were going from Delhi to Haridwar in a minibus to take a bath in the Ganges. This accident occurred due to a sudden speed in front of a vehicle bus near Bahadurpur village on Chaudhary Charan Singh Kawad Marg of Meerut. To avoid this, the driver lost his control over the bus and the bus went uncontrolled and crashed into a tree. After which the breaking the railing bus fell into the canal.
The sudden incident caused a scream on the highway. On seeing the horrific incident, the vehicles on the road also stopped. Immediately someone informed the police about the bus accident. Police reached the spot and started a rescue operation in a hurry and the passengers on the bus were taken out of the canal. The injured were evacuated from the bus and admitted to the hospital. Police officials said that all the people on the bus are safe. Some people have suffered minor injuries.
