This case is from Kanad village of Sundernagar in Mandi district of Himachal. Sardar Amarjeet Singh, a resident of here, sacrificed his turban to help the needy. Yes, the turban which is considered the pride of a Sikh. When the Corona era took place, there was a shortage of sanitizers and masks in the area. All shops in the area were closed due to lockdown. Cloth was not available. In such a situation, Amarjeet Singh got 11 of his new turban cut and made masks and distributed them to the needy. For information, let us know that they are still distributing masks to people by buying new clothes. He is also the volunteer of the Red Cross Society of the district, he always comes forward to help people.
