Gandhinagar: The new BJP government led by Vijay Rupani was taken oath in at a striking ceremony in the State capital of Gandhi agar on Tuesday. Governor Om Prakash Kohli directed the Oath of Office and Secrecy to 20 ministers together with Rupani and his deputy Nitin Patel.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah, 18 chief ministers of different BJP-ruled States, and other senior party leaders were present at the function, which was conducted at the new Secretariat complex.

Including Vijay Rupani as Chief Minister and Nitin Patel as his Deputy, a total of 19 ministers — nine of them in cabinet rank and 10 Minister of States — were taken oath.

Cabinet Ministers: Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, R.C Faldu, Kaushik Patel, Saurabh Patel, Ganpat Vasava, Jayesh Radadiya and Ishwarbhai R. Parmar.

Minister of States: Pradipsinh Jadeja, Parbatbhai Patel, Jaydrathsinh Parmar, Ramanlal Nanubhai Patkar, Parsottam Solanki, Ishwarsinh Patel, Vasanbhai Ahir, Kishor Kanani, Bachubhai Maganbhai Khabad, and Vibhavari Dave.

Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Babu Bokhiria, who registered win from Porbandar assembly seat, has been jumped down in the new government.

 A very Few hours before the oath-ceremony, Rupani, sporting an orange-colored jacket, and Patel greeted the chief ministers of BJP-ruled states who were present at the ceremony.

Vijay Rupani and his wife also offered prayers to take blessings at the Panchdev Mahadev temple here before the oath-ceremony.
