LOS ANGELES: Justin Edison, a former bodyguard for Megan Thee Stallion, has been active on social media despite claims by the rapper's attorney that he vanished before being due to testify in the shooting trial of Tory Lanez.
"Justin was employed as personal protection (for a highly important person) and is currently in Qatar, while (the person he is protecting) is at the World Cup," a source close to Justin said to Media Take Out on Sunday. He "intends to continue with his security gig, until the VIP he's protecting gets back home, safe and sound," according to the reports. According to the insider, Justin won't probably come home until at least Thursday, December 22. Sadly, the trial will be over by then, according to aceshowbiz.com.
The sources confirmed Justin's most recent Instagram post on the @justwatchprotection account. The security guard mentioned in the tweet from December 2 that he has been working recently for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Justin shared a number of pictures of himself working abroad, one of which showed him posing in an Ahmad bin Ali Stadium seat. "protecting clients over the upcoming World Cup weeks as we end the year. God is Good #blessed, a different nation's stamp "He wrote the post's caption.
It's interesting to note that Justin was discovered like a friend's Instagram post just before Meg's attorney Alex Spiro told the media that the Houston Hottie's former bodyguard had vanished.
The Shade Room was informed on Saturday by Megan's attorney Alex that "Justin Edison went missing just before he was supposed to appear in court." The LAPD is presently investigating his disappearance, and they appreciate any information on his whereabouts, he continued. In the meantime, the LAPD told TMZ that Justin is not the subject of a missing person investigation.
As the person to whom Megan's ex-BFF and former assistant, Kelsey Nicole Harris, allegedly sent a text message on the night of the shooting in July that read, "Help," followed by "Tory shot Meg. 911," Justin is one of the main witnesses. This wasn't the first time a crucial witness in the shooting case from July 2020 skipped the courtroom.
Detective Ryan Stogner of the Los Angeles Police Department was "relieved of duty" earlier this month despite being a "key witness." On December 12, the shooting incident trial got underway. The trial will begin on December 19 at 10:30 a.m. in Los Angeles, and it is anticipated that testimony will conclude on Tuesday. Tory is accused with three felonies and, if found guilty, could spend up to 23 years in jail.
