THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After the success of 'Kaduva', Malayalam cinema star Prithviraj Sukumaran and ace director Shaji Kailas have paired up once more for their upcoming action thriller 'Kaapa'.

After "Kaduva's" box office success, there are enormous hopes for the upcoming project among the general public. The actor-director team's debut film together, the action comedy "Kaduva," garnered praise all over.

The setting of "Kaapa," in contrast, is the sordid underbelly of Thiruvananthapuram, where competing criminals fight in vicious gang wars. G.R. Indugopan is the author of the screenplay.

Key roles in "Kaapa" are also played by Asif Ali, Aparna Balamurali, Indrans, and Anna Ben in addition to Prithviraj Sukumaran.
