Megastars himself the Big B aka Amitabh Bachchan, Mr. Perfection Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh are shooting for the film in Thailand. Big B took to Instagram to share a picture of himself from the film sets. He captioned the image as, "From the wilds and chills of Thailand after finishing schedule of TOH .. 'Thugs of HIinduston' now ready to go back to the warmth of Mumbai and home." Amitabh will be sharing screen space with Aamir Khan for the first time in Thugs of Hindostan. The movie also stars Katrina Kaif in a pivotal role. The film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and is set to hit the screens during Diwali weekend in 2018.

Talking about the progress of Thugs of Hindostan, Big B earlier took to his blog and wrote, "The progress on Thugs of Hindostan continues unabated and there is much to be written about, but confidentiality coerces me to preclude you to such observations and so the silence... silence outside, but inside it is a loud and active audience working on the film in various degrees and folds. Nice...shows the strength of pre production. And in particular, a great delight to find so many women on set working harder than the men, in a job which one could never have dreamt about in our times."

Mr. Perfection  Aamir had also tweeted, "Finally, the moment I’ve been waiting for has come… to work with my icon, Mr. Bachchan! Thanks, Adi, Victor, for ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. I’m too thrilled to be working with the actor I have admired all of my life. Shoot starts early next year, and the release has been locked for Diwali 2018. Can’t wait to get started! Fingers crossed."
