The whole of Tollywood is pouring in wishes for the legendary singer S.P. Balasubramaniam. SPB as he is lovingly called by his fans is a veteran singer in the Indian movie industry. This amazing singer was recently in the news panels when it was revealed that he tested positive for the coronavirus along with his wife Savithri. SPB was admitted to the MGM hospital in Chennai where he is currently undergoing treatment. However, Balasubramaniam’s condition worsened suddenly and he was kept on ventilator support as the singer was facing breathing problems.

SPB’s such condition led to many of the Indian movie industries biggest stars to come out and leave messages of hope for his speedy recovery. Megastar Chiranjeevi is the latest celebrity to leave a heartfelt message for his ‘brother’ S.P. Balasubramaniam. The megastar stated that he is in constant touch with SPB’s sisters, S.P. Sailaja and Vasantha, to know about Balasubramaniam’s recovery.

He was also quoted saying, “The one who has the admiration of crores of people, the incredible artist that the nation is proud of, my brother SPB is responding well to treatment. I am delighted to hear that and wanted to share it with you. Beyond the boundaries of cinema, I share a personal bond with SPB and his family. We lived in adjacent streets in Chennai. I fondly call him my elder brother. His sisters, SP Sailaja and Vasantha, see me like their elder brother (sic.)”
Upon knowing that SPB is responding well to his treatment and recovering steadily the star was extremely happy. Chiranjeevi hopes SPB recovers completely and entertains crores of Indians once again with his music.
