He took to Twitter on Wednesday, January 26 to inform his fans and followers that he had tested positive and was undergoing mild symptoms. As a result, he was also unable to celebrate his mother's birthday today, January 29. The actor appears to be missing his mother, as he sent an emotional note on Twitter, stating that he is unable to get blessings from her due to his quarantine.
Covid-19 Positive Chiranjeevi posted a photo of himself with his mother his mother, Anjana Devi abd wife Surekha whre they can be seen smiling. He also wrote a note in Telugu that roughly translates to, "Greetings, Mom! Best wishes on your special day. I'm expressing my wishes here since I'm in quarantine and can't ask for your blessing directly. I pray to God for your benefits not only in this life, but also in the next. From your Shankar Babu, greetings."
