In director Vijay Milton's much-anticipated action thriller 'Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan,' actress Megha Akash will portray the female lead alongside actor Vijay Antony. Interestingly, the producers have recently stated that 'Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan' will be a sequel to Vijay Antony's super hit film 'Salim.'

The action-adventure, which its producers claim is the first Tamil film shot extensively in Daman-Diu, is set to hit theatres in the middle of 2022. Sarath Kumar, in addition to Vijay Antony, will have a key role in the film. Dhananjaya and Pruthvi Ambar, both Kannada actors, will make their Tamil film debuts in this film, which also stars Saranya Ponvannan, Murali Sharma, Thalaivaasal Vijay, Surender Thakur, and Praniti.

According to sources close to the project, the film will feature some mind-blowing action sequences. Vijay Antony, who is known for playing characters with less conversation, will reprise his role as such in this film.

Vijay Milton handled the cinematography for 'Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan' in addition to writing and directing the film. The lead actor, Vijay Antony, will also compose the music for the songs, with Achu Rajamani handling the background score. Infiniti Film Ventures' Kamal Bohra, Lalitha Dhananjayan, Pradeep B., Pankaj Bohra, and S. Vikram Kumar produced 'Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan.'
