Srinagar: Former CM and PDP supremo Mehbooba Mufti has again attacked the central government on Friday over assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and the special status of the province. She said, if there is any threat or tampering with the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, we will stand against it like wall.
Mehbooba Mufti has also said that I have also convened a meeting of all the parties in the matter. Farooq also discussed with Abdullah. Because he is a senior in this case. But they were earlier summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for investigation. Later, Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah held discussions with PM Modi. We don't know what was discussed between the three in that meeting, but both sides said they discussed the election in the state. But our main issue at the time is the special status of the state.
Mehbooba Mufti said that at a time when we should be one, Omar Abdullah is talking about elections. Mufti also said that the way additional security forces are being deployed in the state is creating doubts. PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti said the separatist leaders are in jail at the moment. All responsibilities are on the mainstream political parties. We must unite to protect our Constitution.
